A DevOps engineer named Andrew Rendon told CNBC that his "supercommute" to his office includes a 2.5-hour drive for a 2-hour flight before a quick train journey. Rendon said he undertakes the journey once a week, which costs him ₹2 lakh/month. He added that he used to love flying, but the commute caused him to fall "sick many times".
