The three suspects who shot NCP leader Baba Siddique dead on Saturday had been staying on rent in an apartment in Mumbai's Kurla since September, multiple reports said. The shooters were given ₹2.5 lakh-₹3 lakh for the assassination, with each receiving ₹50,000 as payment, while the rest was allocated to operational expenses, reports added. Two of them have been arrested.
