The SIT formed by Supreme Court on Monday stated that Anant Ambani-led Vantara exceeds the prescribed standards of animal husbandry, veterinary care and welfare. The SIT, while giving clean chit to Vantara, said the imports of the animals have been made only after issuance of valid permits. Notably, Vantara had faced allegations of non-compliance with laws in acquisition of animals.
