Indian-origin technology companies have cornered one-fifth of all H-1B visas issued by US, with Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services leading, an analysis of data from the US Immigration Department showed. Nearly 25,000 of the 1.3 lakh H-1B visas issued in April-September 2024 period, were issued to Indian-origin companies. Of these, Infosys had 8,140 beneficiaries, followed by TCS (5,274).
