Bihar minister and JD(U) leader Ashok Choudhary has served a legal notice to Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor, demanding an "unconditional apology" for alleged defamatory remarks. Kishor, at a press conference last week, had accused Choudhary of involvement in a ₹200 crore illegal land deal. Failing an apology, Choudhary has threatened a civil suit seeking ₹100 crore in damages.
