A Ghaziabad-based diamond trader and his family members were booked for allegedly stripping and torturing the trader's wife over dowry, police said. The woman alleged he regularly thrashed her and even forced her into unnatural sexual relations. The accused allegedly demanded ₹10 lakh and a luxury car, in addition to the ₹50 lakh already given to them during their wedding.
