Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday announced that Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will be implemented in Uttarakhand from January 2025. For public convenience a mobile application and portal have been prepared to implement UCC, Chief Minister's Office said. This will make Uttarakhand the first Indian state to implement UCC after Independence.
