After pro-European Union 'Party of Action and Solidarity' (PAS) won Moldovan parliamentary election, EU chief Ursula von der Leyen said the country chose "Europe, Democracy and Freedom." "No attempt to sow fear could break your resolve...we'll stand with you every step of the way," she added. While PAS won 50.17% of the vote, pro-Russian Patriotic Bloc came second with 24.18%.
