The UP Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has detained Dr Mohammad Arif, a first-year DM (Cardiology) student at the state-run Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial (GSVM) Medical College, from Kanpur in connection with Red Fort car blast case. Arif, a native of Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir, came under ATS radar following disclosures made during interrogation of ex-GSVM professor Dr Shaheen Sayeed.
