After heavy rain triggered massive landslides across Mirik and Darjeeling hills on Sunday, at least 20 people died. Villages remain isolated, and hundreds of tourists are stranded as the landslides destroyed homes and cut off roads. The Gorkhaland Territorial Administration has shut Tiger Hill, Rock Garden, and Batasia Loop, while toy train services between Darjeeling and Ghum are suspended.
