Doctor-turned-IAS officer Nagarjun B Gowda, UPSC 2019's woman topper Srushti Jayant Deshmukh's husband, has been accused of taking ₹10-crore bribe while serving as ADM in MP's Harda. He's accused of taking the bribe to reduce a ₹51-crore penalty imposed on a mining company to ₹4,000. Gowda denied bribery allegations and said there was no evidence to justify a higher penalty.
