US Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control has sanctioned Delhi-born couple, Vikrant Bhardwaj and Indu Rani, for allegedly smuggling thousands of illegal aliens into the US. Sanctions have been imposed on Bhardwaj Human Smuggling Organisation (Bhardwaj HSO) and 16 firms that facilitated and profited from its criminal acts. People from Europe, Asia, Middle East and South America were smuggled.
