Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Hasan criticised Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for imposing a complete ban on beef consumption in hotels, and public places in the state. She termed the ban as against "right to freedom", and said if government continues interfering in personal lives, the nation will head towards dictatorship. The order was passed by Assam government on Wednesday.
