Australian researchers have found mysterious glassy fragments which they've linked to an asteroid that struck Earth about 11 million years ago. Geochemical tests confirmed they aren't volcanic or man-made but formed under extreme heat and pressure. Researchers believe the impact must have been immense. But, the crater, which has likely been buried or eroded over time, hasn't been found yet.
