Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that women often have to work three times harder than men to gain recognition. Speaking in an interview with Times Now, she said, "School, college, board, army, media -wherever women are, they have to prove themselves more than men to receive the same recognition." Sitharaman said that she prefers handling these challenges independently.
