The central and state governments have signed an MoU to support the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee state-level Animal Disease Investigation Laboratory in Pune. The aim is to improve the laboratory’s abilities in disease diagnosis and surveillance across states. According to an official, steps are underway to secure National Accreditation Board accreditation for the laboratory.
