All gates of the Okhla Barrage were opened after the water level in the Yamuna River crossed the danger mark of 205.33 metres on Monday and Tuesday. The level is close to the evacuation mark of 206 metres. Low-lying residential areas were waterlogged even as CM Rekha Gupta said that the water would recede in a day or two.
