Men may need to exercise twice as much as women to achieve same reduction in coronary heart disease risk, according to a Nature Cardiovascular Research study. Scientists analysed physical activity records from 80,000-plus people and found heart disease risk fell by 30% in women who exercised 250 minutes/week, while men needed about 530 minutes to see the same benefit.
