CM Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government is considering a 4% quota for Muslims in government contracts for civil works, reports said, after which his office issued a denial. "It's true that there has been a demand...However...there's no proposal before the government in this regard," said CMO. The state government provides 24% quota to SC/ST in government contracts.
