Farmers led by ex-Maharashtra Minister Omprakash alias Bacchu Kadu blocked the Nagpur-Hyderabad National Highway on Wednesday while demanding a complete loan waiver, causing a 20-kilometre-long jam. Taking suo moto cognisance of newspaper reports of inconvenience faced by people due to traffic congestion, the Bombay High Court ordered Kadu and his supporters to vacate the National Highway 44.
