Iran sent a message to the current US administration on October 14 saying that it was not trying to kill Donald Trump, according to US officials, an Iranian official and an analyst. Iran's message came after US warned that any Iranian attempt on the life of Trump, then the Republican candidate for President, would be considered "an act of war".
