Security guards apprehended two sandalwood thieves at the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune. The police identified the arrested individuals as Babu Lokhande and Sevak Patole. According to police, two other accomplices escaped with six sandalwood logs. The two arrested were remanded to police custody for one day, and incidents of sandalwood thefts were reported at the NCL in the past.
