A case has been registered against Hari Mukunda Panda, the owner of the Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh, where at least nine people died in a stampede on Saturday. Panda said that the incident happened as "a lot of people came today, and we couldn’t control the crowd." The area at the temple where the stampede occurred was under construction.
