OpenAI has announced new safety measures for ChatGPT, which include trying to guess users' age and even asking for their ID cards in certain cases. The measures come after a lawsuit was filed by parents of a US-based teenager who consulted ChatGPT about suicide methods before taking his own life. OpenAI also introduced parental controls for ChatGPT earlier this month.
