Comedian Sunil Pal, who was allegedly kidnapped in Haridwar, revealed the kidnappers let him go after taking ₹7.5-lakh ransom from him after initially demanding ₹20 lakh. He added that the kidnappers gave him ₹20,000 to catch a flight to Mumbai. "They told me, 'We are not bad people. We want you to return to your wife and kids," Pal said.
