The likelihood that one of Saturn's moons may harbour life has increased, according to scientists. An analysis of archival data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft confirmed that icy jets from Saturn's moon Enceladus contain organic molecules, the essential building blocks of life. Enceladus, the sixth-largest of Saturn's moons, is considered a leading candidate for hosting extraterrestrial life.
