Mattakandathil Dineshan Nidheesh (MD Nidheesh) picked up a five-for during the Ranji quarterfinals against Jammu & Kashmir. Nidheesh, a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, belonged to an impoverished fisher community, knowing nothing of cricket till he watched S Sreesanth win the 2007 T20 World Cup. Nidheesh has worked with Sreesanth, Lasith Malinga and Shane Bond.
