Grammy-winning Composer AR Rahman spoke about the reason behind transition into making music across multiple languages. He said, "People started making literal translations of Tamil songs. It was humiliating for me to see bad comments like, 'This Hindi lyrics sucks, I'd rather listen to Tamil version'." 10 years into his career, Rahman learnt Hindi, Urdu & Arabic to diversify himself.
