HSBC named Pam Kaur as first female CFO in 159-year history. She joined HSBC in 2013 as internal audit head and was promoted thrice in 11 years to eventually hold the post of Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. The 60-year-old has MBA in Finance and BCom (Hons) degrees from Panjab University. She's on the board of investment company abrdn.
