BJP leader Vijugouda Patil's son, Samarthgouda Patil allegedly assaulted a toll staff member after being asked to pay fee at Vijayapura-Kalaburagi toll plaza. When he identified himself as Vijugouda Patil's son, the staff member reportedly asked which Vijugouda. Enraged by the question, Samarthgouda allegedly shouted, "Do you know who my father is?" before attacking the toll employee.
