Railways has ordered a probe after a surprise inspection found 21 ticketless passengers travelling on New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi train in October. "When inspecting officials started issuing challans to them, they alleged that they had already paid ₹2,000-₹3,000 each to the TTE, who had allowed them to travel," a Railways source told PTI. Entire inspection was video recorded, the source added.
