A WhatsApp call recording of Punjab's Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, who was arrested for allegedly demanding an ₹8 lakh bribe from a scrap dealer, has surfaced. "8 fadne ne 8 (Collect ₹8 lakh from him)," he was heard saying to a middleman. Bhullar added, "Collect whatever he gives and ask him to give ₹8 lakh in total."
