The Indian Army is planning to soon induct women soldiers into its Territorial Army (TA) battalions, the Indian Express reported. The Directorate General of Territorial Army released additional vacancies for 2025-2026 for the Infantry Battalions TA Home & Hearth (H&H) last month, allotting a section strength of vacancies for the induction of women soldiers. A section usually comprises 10 soldiers.
