Indian javelin thrower Sumit Antil, who bagged a gold medal each in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics and 2024 Paris Paralympics, said his mother never made him feel like a differently-abled person. "She made me work in the field like I used to do before...She knew that sympathies wouldn't work," he added. Antil further called his mother his "biggest support system".
