A 43-year-old woman entrepreneur from Belapur lost ₹2.29 crore in an online trading scam between April and July via a trading app. Scammers, posing as representatives of financial advisory platform, persuaded her to invest through the app 'impv pro'. Lured by investment tips in a WhatsApp group, the woman invested ₹2.29 crore over three months into multiple bank accounts.
