Twenty-four transgender persons attempted suicide in Madhya Pradesh's Indore to demand the arrest of two men, who allegedly raped a transgender person, after posing as journalists. "Are we not humans? They also looted ₹1.5 lakh from the victim," said Neha Kunwar, associated with the Nandlalpura 'Kinnar' dera. The transgender persons who attempted suicide are said to be safe.
