A senior bank officer from Mumbai's Ulwe was defrauded of ₹58.56 lakh in a fake stock investment scam. The officer was added to a WhatsApp group and induced to invest through a fraudulent app. A police official stated, "We suspect the gang has used the name of this reputed company to target several other victims using similar tactics."
