If a person in their 20s starts a monthly SIP of ₹10,000 for 20 years, they will earn around ₹99.91 lakh after getting 12% annual return on their total investment of ₹24 lakh, NDTV Profit said. It also suggested going for a step-up SIP, stating that a step-up of 10% per annum may accumulate ₹1.03 crore in 16 years.
