Ex-England captains Alastair Cook and Michael Vaughan have urged England players to take part in the two-day pink-ball warm-up match against the Prime Minister's XI after their defeat in the first Ashes 2025-26 Test. Cook said it shouldn't be left only to the Lions players. "It's amateurish if England don't go out and practise between now and then," Vaughan added.
