Congress candidate Shashant Shekhar lost to BJP's Ratnesh Kumar from Patna Sahib by massive margin of 38,900 votes in Bihar Assembly elections. Shekhar is an alumnus of IIT Delhi (2014) and IIM Calcutta (2017) and had worked with political strategy firm I-PAC. According to a TOI report, Shekhar left ₹1.2 crore job in Germany to return to Bihar.
