US Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy on Wednesday said that he would order a 10% cut in flights at 40 major airports across the country. The 54-year-old cited air traffic control (ATC) safety concerns as the government shutdown entered its 36th day. Duffy added that the cuts could be reversed if Democrats agreed to reopen the government.
