According to a report by World Health Organisation and World Meteorological Organisation, worker productivity drops by 2-3% for every degree above 20°C. Manual workers in agriculture, construction sectors and vulnerable populations like children and elderly in developing countries, are particularly at risk, the report said. The health risks include heatstroke, dehydration, kidney dysfunction.
