The Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi parties will have three days to stake claim to form government in Maharashtra to avoid the President's rule in the state. The term of the current Assembly will end on November 26. Notably, the counting of votes started at 8 am on November 23. Most exit polls had given an edge to BJP-led Mahayuti.
