Less than 30 seconds before a plane and a military helicopter collided in the US, an air traffic controller asked the helicopter if it had the arriving plane in sight. "PAT 25 pass behind the CRJ," the controller was later heard saying. Moments after the collision, another pilot was heard on the tower's frequency, asking, "Tower, did you see that?"
