A BJD delegation on Tuesday urged the ECI to conduct periodic "process audit" of elections by independent auditors or CAG. The delegation alleged discrepancies in voting patterns observed during 2024 General and Assembly elections in Odisha. BJD also demanded public access to Forms 17C and VVPAT slips. It proposed citizens' involvement in election monitoring to ensure fair elections.
