During PM Narendra Modi's visit to Japan, MoU was signed to advance bilateral collaboration in digital public infrastructure, development of digital talent and joint R&D in futuristic technological fields like AI. The nations signed Memorandum of Cooperation on Mineral Resources and MoU on Decentralised Domestic Waste Water Management as well as Memorandum of Cooperation in field of Environment.
