President Droupadi Murmu honoured filmmaker and producer Karan Johar with the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment Award for 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. Released in July 2023, the film grossed ₹357.5 crore worldwide and ₹153.55 crore in India. Johar's film 'Homebound' recently was sent as India's official entry for Oscars 2026.
