Palestinian Ambassador to Russia, Abdel Hafiz Nofal, said Palestine has applied for BRICS membership however it's yet to receive a response. "I believe Palestine will participate in BRICS as a guest until conditions allow it to become a full member," Nofal said. BRICS originally comprised of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa and gradually expanded to include other nations.
