Bank employees are unlikely to get a 5-day workweek in December 2024, All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) said. "There's no indication from government regarding the five-day workweek's implementation...We are finalising plans to initiate an agitation soon," AIBOC General Secretary Rupam Roy said. "We've also extended invitations to our affiliate unions to join the movement," he added.
