Renu Katra, the wife of an MHADA (Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority) sub-registrar, died by suicide in Kandivali, Mumbai, allegedly due to harassment from her husband. The family alleged frequent arguments over financial matters led to her death and her brother, Nitin Shewal, claimed it was murder. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
