Adani Group announced its entry into battery energy storage systems, planning to build India's largest facility at its Khavda renewable park in Gujarat. The 1,126-MW installation will feature over 700 BESS containers with 3,530 MWh storage. The project is slated for commissioning by March 2026, with a 15 GWh addition by March 2027 and a five-year target of 50 GWh.
