A major accident was averted at Delhi's IGI Airport after an Ariana Afghan plane, which took off from Afghanistan's Kabul, landed on the wrong runway. Flight FG311 landed at runway 29R, meant exclusively for take-offs, at 12:07pm on Sunday. Fortunately, no other aircraft was lined up for take-off on runway 29R when the Airbus A310 landed, preventing a massive accident.
